Development AP – Premium Documentary Slate

Location: London based 

Start Date: Late June / Early July

Contract Length : 6 months

Samphire craft distinctive, thought-provoking, premium documentaries and Formats for global streamers and public service broadcasters. They are now looking for an experienced Development Assistant Producer to join their dynamic team to work across the documentary slate.

What we’re looking for:

We're after a highly motivated and creative Development AP with a proven track record of working across a broad and exciting slate of premium factual content. You'll be working on access, story arcs, pitch decks, sizzles, and treatments, helping shape standout projects for a variety of UK and international broadcasters.

You’ll need to have:

1. Experience developing premium documentaries for streamers and PSBs
2. An ideas generator, who understands what works for the global streamers and the UK market
3. A strong sense of story structure, tone, and editorial ambition
4. Confidence in managing relationships and building access
5. Skills in creating compelling decks and sizzles
6. A proactive, collaborative and ideas-led mindset
7. Availability to start end of June / beginning of July
