Countryfile, BBC1’s flagship factual series, is looking for an enthusiastic Shooting Assistant Producer to join the team.
The ideal candidate will have some existing directing and shooting experience and be keen to enhance these skills.
Working closely with the Series Producer and the Series Editor, the Shooting AP will work in a wide variety of rural locations around the UK making content on many topics – from wildlife, farming, and the environment to rural heritage.
Previous edit experience would be beneficial but not essential.
The Shooting AP’s diverse responsibilities will include, with senior team support: directing presenting talent, arranging and scheduling outdoor shoots, writing shoot scripts, shooting on location with a small crew, and edit producing VTs.
The ideal candidate will thrive when collaborating as part of a team to meet to deadlines on a fast-paced production.
The Shooting AP is also required to have a clean driving licence and be a confident driver.
Start Date: 24th of November for 3 months initially.
Base: Bristol with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
