BBC Studios is looking for self-shooting PDs to join the 'RHS Chelsea Flower Show' team for the upcoming series to TX in May. We’re looking for highly creative, confident Directors to produce the programmes’ pre films ahead of the event and film fast turnaround VTs at the world’s most famous flower show in May.
The roles are Bristol based with the option of some remote working, from late March through to the end of May.
The ideal candidates will have a strong track record of delivering fast turnaround VTs on Fact Ent productions, with broadcast credits on horticultural, rural or wildlife programmes.
We’re looking for well organised PDs with a track record producing high quality contributor and presenter led films, with a passion for crafting visually beautiful films. Key to the role will be your ability to produce content that has a mood, tone and style that resonate and engage with our audience.
You will have proven experience of the whole content delivery process; from developing ideas, to scripting, location directing and managing the offline edit. Experience working on high profile live/as-live events is also required, as is confidence using FS7 cameras.
The role is offered as a freelance contract.
