Runners – Antiques Roadshow

Antiques Roadshow is one of the BBC’s most recognisable and enduring factual series, renowned for its exceptional objects, expert insight and compelling storytelling. We are seeking a 2 x Runners to support the team in the preparation and delivery of the next series.
The Runner will provide essential support to the editorial team, assisting with contributor preparation and offering on-location support during Roadshow filming days.
Role Responsibility
• To support the production team in the office and on location.
• To look after crew & contributors on location.
• Pre-shoot preparation (under instruction from production team).
• To assist with contributor correspondence and office administration.
• You must have a clean and valid driving licence – the role will involve driving a large van so experience of this would be preferable.
The Ideal Candidate
• An adaptable and flexible approach to work and enthusiasm for producing Factual content.
• To be numerate, literate and comfortable talking on the phone.
• An understanding and ability to handle confidential information with tact and sensitivity.
• To be able to identify priorities and work to deadlines.
• To have the confidence, motivation and ability to complete tasks accurately and to time.
• A clear understanding of the logistical requirements of television production.
• Demonstrable experience in TV production and interest in the type of productions made by BBC Studios.
• Have an interest in history and antiques is desirable.
PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST be available on roadshow days (31st May, 7th June, 4th July, 18th July 26th July).
Start Date: 30th March – End Date 14th of August 2026
Base: Bristol with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.
Contract: PAYE freelance
